What is Foursquare?

Foursquare is a location based check-in service for smartphone users.

When you click on the 'Save to foursquare' button the location pinned in the map shown for this article will be added to your Foursquare To-Do list. Then, when on your travels you come within range of that location, the Foursquare application on your smartphone will alert you that the location is nearby.
